The award according to the organizers is one of the ways to show solutions for the patriotism of the union leader. Ede Riot: Naoss Calls For Calm

  National Association of Osun state students has called on all concerned stakeholders to intervene in the Crisis bedeviling Ede town in Osun state in a bid to ensure a lasting solution to the continued clash. The Association said, it is important for government, religious leaders, traditional leaders and even security agency to swing into action to prevent the crisis from aggravating into uncontrollable situations. OYAC Backs Oyetola For APC Ticket

The Osun Youth Autonomous Campaigners, OYAC has thrown its weight behind Governor Gboyega Oyetola to be the flag bearer of the All progressives Congress, Apc, in the 2022 gubernatorial election in the state of osun. The founder of the group, Hon Benedict Olokede in a statement by his press secretary, Jamiu Omoniyi Said Governor Oyetola remain the best candidate that can fly the flag of the party successfully in the poll. OYAC has therefore declared their support for Oyetola to retain the flag bearing till 2026. The National Association of Osun State Students, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to probe the sporadic shooting by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC in Osogbo yesterday where two people were allegedly killed. NAOSS President in a statement by his Media Adviser, Jamiu Omoniyi condemned the activities of the security agents said to be aids of the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola. The students leader noted that the youth and students of the state can not condone politics of bitterness that will amount to loss of life and property in the peaceful state of Osun. Osun Youth Autonomous Campaigners, OYAC, in a statement by its chairman, Hon Benedict Olokede said the decision was motivated by the outstanding performance of the Governor in yet a financial turbulent time in the state. He noted Governor Oyetola is a pride for all indigenes of osun who are enjoying the massive turnaround in all sectors in the state. OYAC has however passed vote of confidence on the governor to extend his service in the state for another four years. The president said, students fall in the youth category that represent the highest percentage of the society, hence there is need for them to let their impact be felt.
