The price of bread nearly doubled in Zimbabwe on Tuesday, another burden for citizens already struggling with a weakening currency and rising prices for basic goods. Bread now costs 3.50 RTGS dollars a loaf, up from 1.80 on Monday, according to prices displayed by most shops visited by Reuters in the capital, Harare. “Bread has now become a luxury. Sequel to the tradition of students with unqualified O'level losing their admission, The students union government has agitated that they should be given other departments they qualify for instead of sending them home. Considering all the money the concerned Students have spent, the SUG president Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) has noted that all part time Students who may have chosen some departments but found unqualified during screening in their departments will now be opportuned to have another department of corresponding qualifications. The Students Union Government President, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Comrade Abiola Azeez Adigun has enliven the hope of the students on his promise to reduce the tuition fees of the school which some students described as exorbitant fees. Comrade Adigun spoke through the Public Relations Officer, Comrade Isiaq Adesoji in reaction to many students Agitations that  SUG should ensure the review of the school fees. The Union president emphasized that moves to annex support for the realization of the school fees review has begun and all stakeholders will be carried along including the Media. FG Commissions 2km Road in Offa poly Says it's an investment in education

The Federal government of Nigeria in its bid to upgrade the standard of Nigeria Education has commissioned a 2.23 kilometers internal access road in the federal Polytechnic Offa and handed it over to the school management for use. The Minister for works and housing, Mr Babatunde fashola represented by the Kwara state Federal controller of works and housing, Engr. Atitebi Wasiu commissioned the rehabilitated road Today, Thursday, March 12, 2020. The Minister in his speech noted that 43 internal roads were constructed by the Federal government out of which 18 have been commissioned and handed over for use.
