Embargo on School Fee, Adigun orders Immediate Stop On Payment

The Students Union Government has given an order stopping Students of the institution from payment of the school fees because of alleged misappropriation. The SUG president, comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) gave the order today saying the SUG has met with management on the condition that the school fees should be reviewed. Comrade Adigun noted that the Move become necessary as Students clamour poor facilities despite the exorbitant fees being paid. "As we promised out students that their welfarism is our concern, The school management upon our request to meet them for school fees review has scheduled a meeting with us second week after resumption. "This calls for us to instruct our students to stop the payment while the discussion lasts." Adigun noted. Naoss Condemns NSCDC shootings in Osun, Ask FG To Caution Aregbesola

The National Association of Osun State Students, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to probe the sporadic shooting by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC in Osogbo yesterday where two people were allegedly killed. NAOSS President in a statement by his Media Adviser, Jamiu Omoniyi condemned the activities of the security agents said to be aids of the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola. The students leader noted that the youth and students of the state can not condone politics of bitterness that will amount to loss of life and property in the peaceful state of Osun. They however threatened to confront Aregbesola and the NSCDC in the spirit of Aluta if they both repeat such criminality. Comrade Adigun stated this today,w inspecting Students' hostel within and outside the school The inspection team had the chief security officer, Mr Maahood Ibrahim in attendance. Adeife hostel, Ptf hostel, boys hostel Among others in mini campus as well as all hostel in the permanent site were all inspected to ensure that the property Students left behind are secured. The SUG President however visited major Hostels outside the campus, such as Life hostel, blue hostel,  Allahu villa among others to check on the welfare of the students who are still in offa and ensure that the rooms of Students who are at home are not invaded.
