Osun Govt Meet Naoss Exco, Seal Plan on Bursary payment to Students

Government of the state of osun has reaffirmed its commitment to leverage on its investment on education,Students and youth development in a bid to secure an enviable future for the coming generation in the state.


The senior special assistant to the Governor on Youth and social mobilization, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji gave the assurance noting that peace and tranquility in the state is owing to mutual rapport established by Governor Gboyega Oyetola with the youth and students force.


Comrade Ayantunji while presiding over a joint meeting of the executives of National Association of Osun State Students, Naoss and students indigenous association which held at the conference center of the ministry of education Abere expressed the readiness of the Governor to motivate the students of the state schooling in tertiary institutions across Nigeria and in diaspora by paying them Bursary.


He charged all the students to remain focused on their studies and be a good ambassador of the state just as government is doing its best to position them well in their career.


The SSA noted that indigenous students association will coordinate the data collation for the bursary disbursement so as to aid efficiency of the program.


In his address, The Naoss National President-Elect, Comrade Yusuf Agboola best known as Justice noted that the students force in the state is lucky to have Governor Gboyega oyetola in charge due to its wealth of knowledge on human and material management.


Comrade Justice stressed that his Administration will complement the efforts of the state government in elevating the standard of the state education sector and improve productivity of students at all levels.


According to him, "what is thinkable is achievable and Osun Students are ever ready to contribute to the developmental stride of the government at all time.


“The planned payment of bursary to our students   Nationwide by the Governor is also commendable and will in no small measure boost the morale of our students.


“We assured our students that Naoss will employ an open, efficient and all-inclusive method in disbursement of the bursary without any discrimination or segregation."
