Naoss Congratulates Felgsa president, Advocates for commitment

 



President, National association of osun state students, Naoss, comrade Yusuf Agboola popularly known as Justice has felicitated with Comrade Ogunsola Adam on his emergence as the elected president for Federation of Egbedore local government students association, Felgsa.


Comrade Justice in a statement by his special adviser on media and public engagement, Jamiu Omoniyi in osogbo congratulate the stakeholders, executives and entire members of the students association for the peaceful transition that produced comrade Ogunsola and his executive members.


The release charged  the new Excos to leverage on good governance, transparency, equity and patriotism domicile in the association since time past.


According to Comrade Justice, “It’s a honor for me to congratulate my brother and colleague on his well deserved victory to become the Felgsa National president, it is indeed a clarion call to serve your fathers land in a strong capacity.


 “I also congratulate myself for serving diligently as the immediate past president of this association and hand over to a competent comrade to continue with the leadership of the association.


“Very importantly, I commend all my royal fathers in Egbedore local government for their unwavering support for the association so far which has kept the union moving in good light, may your reign continue to rain peace for us.


“I also seize this opportunity to shower encomium on the pioneer president of the association, Comrade Akeem Olajide for your continued mentorship as well as the brain behind continued existence of Felgsa, Baba Oba of Egbedore, Comrade Oyegoke Akintayo Kameel, popularly known as Teewhy for being a pathfinder to always been reckoned with.”


The president however called on all students of Egbedore at home and in diaspora to drum their support for the newly elected executives in a bid to elevate the standard of the students association.

Fedpoffa 26th Matriculation Adigun Charges New Students On Commitment

Offa Poly Deputy Registrar Appointed Registrar By Ede Poly

General Jamo (Offa) The Deputy Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola has been announced the registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ede alongside other principal officers effective from April 1st, 2020.  The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State during a special meeting held on Thursday 13th February, 2020, has approved the appointments of Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola as the Registrar of the Institution, alongside Mr. Olagunju Caleb Olanrewaju and Dr. Egunjobi Rotimi Adesina were pronounced Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively. Duro Ladipo: A Real god of Thunder - former unilag VC

In many cultures, the thunder god is frequently known as the chief or king of the gods, such as Indra in Hinduism, Zeus in Greek mythology, and Perun in ancient Slavic religion, Sango olukoso in Yoruba or a close relation thereof. In Yoruba mythology, Sango also known as Jakuta is perhaps the most popular Orisa; he is the god of thunder and lightning and as well one of the most worshipped gods all over the world as Statue of Sango was erected in front of a building in Marina. Sango was a royal ancestor of the Yoruba as he was the third king of the Oyo Kingdom.
