Naoss Meets Kwasu VC Lauds achievements

The president, National association of Osun State students, Naoss, Comrade Yusuf Agboola best known as Justice has appreciated  the management of the Kwara State University, Malete for its commitment in ensuring academicstability and enhancing moral in the institution. 

Comrade justice made this remark at a courtesy visit to the vice chancellor of the school, professor Mohammed Akanbi, SAN last Friday.

He described the students’ body as a union where discipline, patriotism and radical movements are the tripod of operation, he promised the management of ultimate cooperation of the union as he appreciated the management for sustaining qualitative academic delivery in a world class environment.

The National president furthered by reaffirming the continuity of good behaviour by the good students of osun, since the inception of the university no student from the state of osun has been cut with any form of illegality as they all uphold omoluabi character. 

He then pleaded to the university towards equitable in dealing with students of the school regardless of their state of origin.

In his address, The VC represented by the Director of Students Affairs, Professor Moshood Jimba congratulate the national president of his victory being the first of it in the history of University and others University in kwara state.

He  acknowledged the relevance of Naoss among other unions in the school and diaspora.

He lauded the decision of the union leaders to meet the management as he advised them to shun any ugly protest or rascality and rather pursue its demands through consultation.

Prof Akanbi noted that the school as a world class university has never been bias or discriminating in dealing with students and staffers of the school as he described the school fee ratio as an arrangement obtainable in otger state owned institutions to assist their indigenes academic pursuit.

He assured that the school has listening ears to every reasonable agitation and will attend to it without delay.

According to him “the School Management has always treat every of it students and staffs as equal. As no special treatment will be given to anyone. We are all Equal here in KWASU. The only thing that can be seen as inequality is the School fee payment Which is a way government use to support it citizens in the state. The difference is not much and it is applicable in other state owned institutions.”

The meeting was attended by Naoss National president  the Union General secretary, comrade Jamiu Oyedokun, Naoss chapter presidents of University of Ilorin and Kwara state university among others.
