Iragberi is for Oyetola, Oba Folohunso Assures as He receives Naoss President-elect



The Aragberi of Iragberi land, Oba Folohunso Makanju Ilufeminloye has reassured the support of Iragberi Indigenes for Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his bid to elongate his progressive service for the state of Osun till 2026.


The monarch gave the assurance while playing host to the president-elect for National association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) NHQ comrade Yusuf Agboola best known as Justice and his executives and stakeholders of the association in his palace in Iragberi, Egbedore local Government area of the state.


The election of NAOSS where Comrade Yusuf Agboola and his executives tagged “Intellectualism Epoch” was conducted on the 30th of December 2021 at the NUJ press center Osogbo


Oba Makanju while addressing the gathering lauded numerous achievements of the Oyetola Administration which he said has elevated the standard of the state.

He added that he is happy that Iragberi produced the Naoss president during his reign as the traditional ruler of the town.


In his remarks, Comrade Justice appreciated Governor oyetola for creating an enabling environment that permits free, fair, credible and democratically successful election that produced him as the president for the entire students of the state.

He reiterated his readiness to complement the state government’s efforts in students and youths development adding that he will never disappoint the state of Osun.


He as well acknowledged the unrelenting support he received from Iragberi township, king, family, friends and especially the Progressive NAOSS stakeholders before, during and after the election.


Earlier in his speech , the SSA to the Governor of the State on Youths and Social Mobilization Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji expressed his optimism that the investment of the state in youth and students will secure desirable future for the state and improve human development.


He stretched further that the government is so passionate about the development of the students structure and will continue to support them in any way that will not allow any agent of backwardness in the system. While congratulating the newly elected executives, he charged them to write a new chapter of NAOSS history by ensuring massive transformation of the students structure.


In their separate remarks,NAOSS stakeholders, Comrade Akintayo Oyegoke, Comrade Akorede Olawale, Comrade Sunday Asubiaro, Comrade Adekunle Animasahun  and Comrade Basiru Aderoju highlighted the significance of Naoss in promoting academics, leadership and morals among students of the state who are the prospective future leaders of the country, they call on all concerned stakeholders and entire students to play their part in realizing a beautiful turnaround for the association in the present regime.


They later charged members of the community to reciprocate the generosity of the governor by supporting all his developmental activities in the state.


In the program were the Iragberi progressive union members, delegate of Iragberi indigene living at Abidjan, Pioneer president of Federation of Egbedore Local Government Student Association, Pioneer president Iragberi students union among others.
