Naoss Applauds Oyetola, commends His Foresight on Education

The president, National Association of Osun started students, Naoss, comrade Yussuf Agboola best known as Justice has described Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as a God sent to the education sector of the state.


Comrade Justice in a statement by his special Adviser on Media and public engagement, Comrade Jamiu Omoniyi, in osogbo identified Governor Oyetola as a visionary leader who has priority for the future of the state.


He noted that the impacts of the Governor at all levels of the state education is commendable, ranging from primary and secondary school reforms which has revived the old glory and values of Osun students in primary and secondary schools.


Comrade Justice stressed that the uninterrupted academic calendar in the state owned tertiary institutions was not unconnected to the enhanced investment of the governor in all the needs of the institutions, which include Staff welfare, infrastructure and administrative restructuring.


According to the president, Governor Oyetola has sealed his love in the heart of Osun students by paying their Bursary despite meager funds in the state purse.


He related the calibers of people appointed by the governor as board chairmen of institutions to a round peg in a round hole, owing to their good antecedents and deep knowledge of the given mandate.


The Naoss president expressed optimism in the ability of the appointees to elevate the standard of the state education to an enviable height as he charged them to key into the vision of governor Oyetola who is building the future as he build the present.


 While congratulating the appointees, comrade Justice intimate them with the need to discharge their duty with utmost sincerity, diligence, fear of God and patriotism.


“We as the number one students Body in the state has thrown our weight behind the developmental stride of the governor in the education sector and we’re ready to render complementary task whenever necessary.


"On behalf of All osun state students, I congratulate the new appointees, Former Health Minister, Prof. Isaac Adewole (UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Board); former Osun Deputy Speaker, Akintunde Adegboye (College of Science and Technology, Esa Oke), Former Osun Governorship aspirant, Saka Layonu, (Osun Polytechnic, Iree) Elder Kunle Odeyemi (Osun State College of Education, Ilesa) and another former Deputy Speaker, Taiwo Sunmonu (Teaching Service Board) for taking another vital assignment in the interest of Osun state development.


“I charge all concerned people to cooperate with the new appointees to bring efficiency in their assignment.


“I’m confident to say that the Ilerioluwa leekansi will be the best for the state owing to the developmental magic happening despite the meager fund at the disposal of the state government". The president said
