Dr Waheed Balogun has been declared winner of the chairmanship position of the Academic staff Union of polytechnics Fedpoffa chapter, after defeating his opponent with a margin of 297 votes. Dr Balogun recorded 362 vote ahead of Folaranmi Kazeem who polled 65 vote according to a source. The Asup chairman's electoral victory made him bagged his second term in office as the Asup chairman of the fastest growing polytechnic in Nigeria. The Students Union Government, however Felicitated with the winner and wished him success in office for the second time. Comrade Adigun who spoke with 4newsnaija.blogspot.com through the PRO, Comrade Isiaq Adesoji noted that the current administration with the term SIWES shown prowess with their plans to ensure the welfarism of the institution has per reduction of any outrageous fees including the faculty and departmental fee after the successful reduction of significant amount from the school fee.
