Fedpoffa Asup: Dr Balogun Re-elected, SUG congratulates Him



Dr Waheed Balogun has been declared winner of the chairmanship position of the Academic staff Union of polytechnics Fedpoffa chapter, after defeating his opponent with a margin of 297 votes.

Dr Balogun recorded 362 vote ahead of Folaranmi Kazeem who polled 65 vote according to a source.

The Asup chairman's electoral victory made him bagged his second term in office as the Asup chairman of the fastest growing polytechnic in Nigeria.

The Students Union Government, however Felicitated with the winner and wished him success in office for the second time.

The SUG president, Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) in a congratulatory message obtained by 4newsnaija.blogspot.com from the Pro, comrade Isiaq Adesoji described the massive winning as true reflection of fedpoffa lecturers.

Adigun stressed that, "we congratulate Dr Balogun for another achievement and appeal to him to synergize with SUG in a bid to elevate fedpoffa to an enviable height.

"We urged all the Asup members to cooperate with the new leadership so as to sustain the peaceful atmosphere on campus."

Dr Balogun is also the Head of civil engineering department of the polytechnic.
