At Last #45million, More Deducted From School Fees, Adigun Says SIWES Agenda Will Achieve More


Sequel to the much anticipated Reduction Of the school fees of the Federal Polytechnic Offa as promised by the Students Union Government President, Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) in his SIWES Agenda, The President has announced the deduction of amount quantified to be more than #45million from the tuition fees of the school.

In a release obtained by 4newsnaija.blogspot.com through the PRO, Comrade Isiaq Adesoji, The president said the agitation was achieved due to the resolute determinationbof the Union to deliver on its Manifesto promises.

Comrade Adigun described the Reduction as unprecedented as major Norms and Tradition of the school management were outshined to satisfy the students.

According to him,  "It is unusual and a very hard task to beat our drum louder than the management words on the need for the school fees which has been paid by many students even before our election to be Reduced.

"We prioritize the fact that our students hard earned money should not extorted on abstract facilities.

"We let them understand that we are fully backed up even to the national level on the need to uphold justice and accountability".

In the breakdown of the Deducted #45million, returning Students will no longer pay for Students Information Hand book (#2,000) and (#500) Deducted From the internet facilities fee. Fresh Students also enjoyed (#500) deduction from the internet facilities fee.

The president however noted that the school management has promised to implement the operation of the school internet facilities in no long distant time.

Comrade Adigun appealed to the students continue to believe in the Students Union Government and informed them about issues of concerns to them on and off campus.
