Don't Run towards korope, Sug, Nurtw Achieve Surplus Buses.


The students union government and the national union of road transport workers Nurtw have warned students to desist from the act of rushing to board korope because of the danger involved.

The Sug and Nurtw briefed 4newsnaija after a meeting on how to end scarcity of korope to the permanent campus.



According to the Sug Public Relations Officer, comrade Isiaq Adesoji and the welfare director, Comrade Mahroof Abolanle, there will be sufficient korope henceforth and students will not need to rush again.

The Sug president, comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) said the move is to ensure the welfarism of the students.

Adigun assured that "concerning our Siwes agenda, there will be enough korope and jagaban, (mass transit bus) will be available before resumption from December break.

"We don't want any hardship for our students and providing enough bus will reduce the risk of Okada accident."

Adigun however appreciated the support of the students from inception of his administration

    I can smell change in this great polytechnic, I'm impress with everything I've heard about your SIWES agenda I pray may God give you (SUG) the strength, wisdom and ability to accomplish your mission, however concerning the provision of enough bus for the students, I'll be glad if they can reduce the transport fee to 30 or 20naira. May God replenish you(SUG) for your good deeds.

School Resumption: Adigun Debunks Rumour, Warns Students against Fake News

By General Jamo The Students Union Government President Federal Polytechnic Offa Comrade Abiola Azeez Adigun has warned Students to be cautious of several fake news circulating on social media on the purported school resumption. Fake Comrade Adigun in a release by his Director of Media and Publicity General Jamo noted that fedpoffa has not announced any date for school resumption. He noted that "it has come to the notice of the Students Union Government about a calendar said to be fedpoffa new school calendar, I hereby state categorically that it is fake and not from the school management. "The calendar slated serial resumption starting from Hnd2 and Nd2 and Hnd1 and Nd1 respectively."
