Yuletide: Adigun Felicitates, Charges Christians on Love, Tolerance, Commitment, Says Fedpoffa Progress Lies On All


The Students Union Government president, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) has felicitated with Christian Students and Lecturers of the Fastest Growing Polytechnic in Nigeria (Fedpoffa) on the occasion of the Annual Christmas celebration.

Comrade Adigun in a statement obtained today by 4newsnaija.blogspot.com through the SUG Public Relations Officer, comrade Isiaq Adesoji urged Christian faithfuls to reflect on the lessons of the Christmas.

Adigun stated that, "The birth of Jesus Christ teaches Love, Tolerance, Commitment and Solidarity which we must all inculcate so as to sustain the peace reining in Fedpoffa.

"We must be our brother's keeper, avoiding discrimination, favouritism and injustice.

"We must all see the progress of the school as our individual and collective responsibilities and by so doing, success is assured".

The President thereafter appealed to all and sundry to avoid any encounter that may prone them to Danger while the Yuletide lasts.

Offa Poly Deputy Registrar Appointed Registrar By Ede Poly

General Jamo (Offa) The Deputy Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola has been announced the registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ede alongside other principal officers effective from April 1st, 2020.  The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State during a special meeting held on Thursday 13th February, 2020, has approved the appointments of Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola as the Registrar of the Institution, alongside Mr. Olagunju Caleb Olanrewaju and Dr. Egunjobi Rotimi Adesina were pronounced Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively. Duro Ladipo: A Real god of Thunder - former unilag VC

In many cultures, the thunder god is frequently known as the chief or king of the gods, such as Indra in Hinduism, Zeus in Greek mythology, and Perun in ancient Slavic religion, Sango olukoso in Yoruba or a close relation thereof. In Yoruba mythology, Sango also known as Jakuta is perhaps the most popular Orisa; he is the god of thunder and lightning and as well one of the most worshipped gods all over the world as Statue of Sango was erected in front of a building in Marina. Sango was a royal ancestor of the Yoruba as he was the third king of the Oyo Kingdom.
