SUG and Naoss Fedpoffa Identify with Dr KK on his Father's Burial


The Students Union government executives, judiciary and the legislative arm in collaboration with the executives of National Association of osun state Students, Naoss, federal polytechnic Offa have commiserated with the former head, department of electrical engineering, Dr kamoru Kadiri on the death and subsequent Burial of his father, Alhaji Kadiri.

The tribute was contained in a joint release by the authorities of the SUG and Naoss after attending the burial which took place at oke-baale, osogbo, osun state.

Alhaji Kadiri was reported passed away yesterday while he has been buried according to Islamic rite.

The late old man was survived by children, grand children and great grandchildren.

Dr kadir however featured in a group photograph with the Union leaders.
They however pray to God to grant the deceased Aljannat Fridaus (paradise)

National outcry as cost of Bread doubles in Zimbabwe

The price of bread nearly doubled in Zimbabwe on Tuesday, another burden for citizens already struggling with a weakening currency and rising prices for basic goods. Bread now costs 3.50 RTGS dollars a loaf, up from 1.80 on Monday, according to prices displayed by most shops visited by Reuters in the capital, Harare. “Bread has now become a luxury. How many people can afford it at this rate?” said Sarah Chisvo, a mother of three who was picking up groceries in a supermarket in central Harare. “The government needs to do something before this gets out of hand.” Zimbabwe ditched its own currency for the U.S. dollar and other currencies in 2009, after hyperinflation reached 500 billion percent the previous year. SUG Senate, Judiciary Set To Sanction The Deputy Senate President For Indiscipline

The Students representative council and the judiciary arm of the Students Union Government, Federal Polytechnic Offa have decided to strike the sledge hammer of the Union on a senator alleged of defiance to the constituted authority of the SUG. Sequel to the tradition of students with unqualified O'level losing their admission, The students union government has agitated that they should be given other departments they qualify for instead of sending them home.
