Exam Extended, Fedpoffa Students Praise SUG


Students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa have Lauded the Students Union Government for their Successful agitation for the extension of the school examination date.

Arrays of Students who spoke with 4newsnaija.blogspot.com upon reception of the news that the February 10th scheduled examination has been postponed to February 24th expressed their happiness on the achievement recorded by the SUG.

Oladele Bukola (mass communication) Adeoye Hamed (Quantity surveying) Among others expressed their happiness on the development and commend the SUG for fighting for Students interest.

According to the students the Successful agitation by the Union shows the seriousness of the SUG in fighting for the interest of the students.

Earlier on Friday, 24th January, the SUG President, comrade Abiola Azeez Adigun through the PRO Comrade Isiaq Adesoji has posted the new academic calendar which indicated that the exam has been postponed to February 24th.

Comrade Adigun said the extension was demanded for so as to enable the students expecially the ND2 Students who just returned from The Student industrial working experience scheme (Siwes) to cover their syllabus in a bid to have examination Success.

Adigun stressed that this will in a long way prevent Students from looking for examination Success in an illegal way.

The new academic calendar indicated that lectures will continue till February 24th while revision will start on February 17th to February 21st.

Examination will however begin on Monday, 24th of February till Friday, 13th March 2020 when the school will vacate for the first semester and resume for second semester on Monday March 30th, 2020.
