Osun State Student, Abdullahi Akintade Who Won Presidential Science Award 2020 Receives iPad Gift from an Old Student

The osogbo Government high school student, Abdullahi Akintade  who emerged winners at the year 2020 Young Nigerian Scientists Presidential Award Competition has received a gift of an iPad device from an old Student of the school, Mr Babatunde Adedotun.

The gift was presented to the students at the assembly ground of the school after Mr Adedotun Encouraged others to also be focused on their studies.

Mr Babatunde Adedotun team was received by Students of Osogbo Government high school in enthusiasm as an old Student of the school who is giving back to his Alma mater.

While Addressing the students, Mr Adedotun charged the students to awake the giant in them noting that leaders are not born but made.

He commended the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for its high priority in educational development which was evident as a student of the state Public school, Abdullahi Akintade  emerged the overall best scientist Nationwide.

Mr Adedotun thereafter presented an iPad device to Abdullahi as a means of Commending him for making the state proud among its counterparts across the country.

Books were also donated to the school library and some students who answered some questions asked by Mr Adedotun while a gift was also presented to school teacher in Appreciation of their commitment to their work.

Mr Abdullahi Akintade while speaking with 4newsnaija.blogspot.com expressed happiness over all the compensations he has received for winning the competition including the Federal government scholarship up to PhD level stressing that this will motivate him to be more focused on his studies and also help his colleagues where necessary.

He commended the federal government of Nigeria for organizing the competition and Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his outstanding Education policy which gave him all the knowledge required to win the competition.

He also thanked the management of Osogbo Government high school for always taking lead role in complimenting Government Educational development efforts.

Abdullahi said, "it's not by my Power to win a science competition across the country, we started at the local level before I won and represented the state and came victorious among all my colleagues from other states.

"My most memorable moment was when I handshake president Muhammadu Buhari, in fact I felt on top of the world".
