Rotaract 52nd Birthday: Offa Poly Rotaract Holds Vocational Training

As part of Rotaract 52nd birthday celebration  across the world, Rotaractor club federal Polytechnic offa chapter joined the global Celebration.

The Rotaweek has featured several Programs aimed at enhancing standard of living of people within and beyond the campus.

The main event was held, yesterday, March 14, 2020  where arrays of Students and youths were engaged in vocational training and skills acquisition program.

Make up, head gear tying, Cake baking, small chops Graphics designing among other skills were taught at the occasion.

Officiating the program, the Fedpoffa Rotaract President, Rtr Oshifeso Eniola noted that the gesture was a way to contribute to human development and capacity building so as to enhance entrepreneurship and self-employment.

"If you give people fish, they will appreciate you for the day but if you train them fishing they will appreciate you forever.

"As a club, this is part of our social corporate responsibilities and we will continue to give back to the Society in all our possible Ways", the president noted.

After the program, The beneficiaries one after the other Lauded Rotaract club Offa for the gesture and promised to reciprocate the gesture by impacting positively in the society.

Fedpoffa 26th Matriculation Adigun Charges New Students On Commitment

The students Union government, president  federal polytechnic Offa Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) has congratulated the new students of the school on their admission to the polytechnic and charged them to be committed to their primary assignment on campus. Offa Poly Deputy Registrar Appointed Registrar By Ede Poly

General Jamo (Offa) The Deputy Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola has been announced the registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ede alongside other principal officers effective from April 1st, 2020.  The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State during a special meeting held on Thursday 13th February, 2020, has approved the appointments of Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola as the Registrar of the Institution, alongside Mr. Olagunju Caleb Olanrewaju and Dr. Egunjobi Rotimi Adesina were pronounced Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively. Duro Ladipo: A Real god of Thunder - former unilag VC

In many cultures, the thunder god is frequently known as the chief or king of the gods, such as Indra in Hinduism, Zeus in Greek mythology, and Perun in ancient Slavic religion, Sango olukoso in Yoruba or a close relation thereof. In Yoruba mythology, Sango also known as Jakuta is perhaps the most popular Orisa; he is the god of thunder and lightning and as well one of the most worshipped gods all over the world as Statue of Sango was erected in front of a building in Marina. Sango was a royal ancestor of the Yoruba as he was the third king of the Oyo Kingdom. Meanwhile no replacement has ever been found for Sango “olukoso ayajo ina” in the modern world until the evolution of the African culture projector chief  Duro ladipo in the 90s.
