Road commissioning: Offa Poly Sug President Lauds FG.


The Sug President, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Comrade Abiola Azeez has showered encomium on President Muhammadu Buhari for prioritizing the Welfarism of Fedpoffa Students.

Comrade Adigun gave the remarks today at the official commissioning of a 2km internal access road in the school by the minister for works and housing Mr Babatunde Fashola represented by Kwara state Federal controller for works and housing Engr Atitebi Wasiu.

The SUG president thereafter urged The Federal Government not to spare any efforts at upgrading the education system of the country to an enviable height.

In his speech, The minister noted that the intervention is to upgrade the standard of Nigeria Education.

He noted that 43 internal roads were constructed across Nigerian Tertiary institutions by the Federal government out of which 18 have been commissioned and handed over for use.

Fashola expressed that the gesture is part of president Muhammadu Buhari investment in education because quality Education is dependent on quality infrastructure.

In his address, The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Dr lateef Olatunji Commended the president Muhammadu Buhari administration for enhancing the performance of the Tertiary education Trust Fund, Tetfund.

While he lauded the minister of works and housing for his brilliant performance in public infrastructural development across the country, he appealed to the FG to consider other internal roads on the campus for rehabilitation.

The official drive was done on the road by the minister, The Rector Among other dignitaries at the occasion.
