Leo Fedpoffa inducts New Members Today, See What's New

Leo clubs international, Federal Polytechnic Offa chapter is set to induct new members today, Saturday, March 14, 2020 to carry on the Activities of the selfless club.
This was contained in a release by the Fedpoffa Leo Club President who also doubled as the SUG President, Leo Abiola Azeez (Adigun) and obtained from the Leo General Secretary who also doubled as Sug CJ, Leo Agboola Doyinmola (Adegold) yesterday, Friday March 13th 2020.

 According to the president, the investiture will hold at Goodies Hotel, Offa by 10am  prompt.

 Leo Adigun stressed that about 30 Intending Leo will be conferred with Membership of the club by LEO District 404 B2 Nig (Youth Activity of International Lions Club)

 "Leo Club is a youth organization of Lions Clubs International. The word "LEO" stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. LEO clubs encourage youths to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. 

 "They are dependent on a Lions club to sponsor and initiate a Leo club", Adigun noted.
Founded in 1957, with its Headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States, it has about 200,000 members in 140 countries according to www.lionsclub.org

Fedpoffa 26th Matriculation Adigun Charges New Students On Commitment

The students Union government, president  federal polytechnic Offa Comrade Abiola Azeez (Adigun) has congratulated the new students of the school on their admission to the polytechnic and charged them to be committed to their primary assignment on campus. Comrade Adigun said this at the 26th matriculation ceremony of the fastest growing polytechnic in Nigeria. Offa Poly Deputy Registrar Appointed Registrar By Ede Poly

General Jamo (Offa) The Deputy Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Offa, Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola has been announced the registrar of the Federal Polytechnic Ede alongside other principal officers effective from April 1st, 2020.  The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State during a special meeting held on Thursday 13th February, 2020, has approved the appointments of Alhaji Isiaka Tunji Agboola as the Registrar of the Institution, alongside Mr. Olagunju Caleb Olanrewaju and Dr. Egunjobi Rotimi Adesina were pronounced Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively. Duro Ladipo: A Real god of Thunder - former unilag VC

In many cultures, the thunder god is frequently known as the chief or king of the gods, such as Indra in Hinduism, Zeus in Greek mythology, and Perun in ancient Slavic religion, Sango olukoso in Yoruba or a close relation thereof. In Yoruba mythology, Sango also known as Jakuta is perhaps the most popular Orisa; he is the god of thunder and lightning and as well one of the most worshipped gods all over the world as Statue of Sango was erected in front of a building in Marina. Sango was a royal ancestor of the Yoruba as he was the third king of the Oyo Kingdom.
